Tyson's party with the Starks'!....

In St.Louis Kurts paretns had presents and a cake waiting for the Birthday boy! He tore into the cake and took a couple of bites but then got a little freaked out when the more he rubbed his hands the more the cake spread! He loved opening his presents and ripping apart the paper!

Happy Birthday Tyson...last month!!
Ok so I am way behind on here. But Tyson had his first birthday about a month ago. We were traveling between both Kurt and I's families and so he got to have 2 birthday parties!! One was in Wyoming with my family and the other was in St. Louis with Kurts parents! In Wyoming Liana, Mom and I stayed up until 1 o'clock in the morning making cakes from scratch and decorating them. Kurt kept saying that we were crazy but the truth is it was a lot of fun and something I will never forget. We talked and talked and talked all through the night. When it gets late and the Starks girls get tired- we get a little wierd. My mom doesnt have a filter when its late and is very honest, saying things she probably wouldnt normally say but Liana and I just laugh! I had a design of a cake I wanted to make and need-less-to- say it did not turn out how I had invisioned it! But thats ok- people still ate it! I planned out this birthday party for months. Just ask Kurt, a lot of nights I would sit down and go through tons and tons of party supplies on line, and cake designs, talked to people to arrange places and times to have it etc etc to try and make this party perfect. I know Tyson doesnt know what is going on but I wanted it to be something we would remember and be able to share with our families. But again, it didnt turn out how I had invisioned or planned for months for!! But thats OK! I tell Kurt over and over when things go wrong that, "it just makes for good memories." And I think that is how this birthday will be. It wasnt what I had planned for but it was good. And I will always remember it!
